WE ARE A CHURCH COMMITTED TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST! |
|
GOD is
using Wallace Street Church to do tremendous things for His Kingdom. A wide
range of ministries reach out into the community, touching lives for Christ. Both of our Pastors are concerned about the physical and
spiritual needs of both our Church and community, with a deep personal
concern for the youth and young families in our area. You are always welcome at Wallace Street! Our friendly
congregation demonstrates God's love for all people. Our Church is deeply
concerned that all people have the opportunity to hear the salvation message
of Jesus Christ and to grow and enrich their faith. The purpose of our
ministry is to fulfill these two objectives. If
you have not yet visited us, please plan to worship with us Sunday. |

WALLACE STREET OUTREACH MINISTRIES
|
|
|
GENTLE SHEPHERD PRESCHOOL For nearly 40 years Wallace Street Church
operated a Christian Pre-School, to benefit children of church members and children
of the community with early academics, socialization, and presentation of the
Gospel. The ministry was ended in August of 2018, due to lack of
registrations in the program, and its becoming economically inviable to
continue. |
|
Currently Wallace Street Evangelical Church is seeking a Youth
Director. Please visit our [Youth] page for more
details. |

THE BRIDGE MINISTRY This ministry of Wallace Street
Evangelical Church seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the
homeless in our city and community. The Bridge was born out of a mothers
prayer to find her son David, and help him with his addiction. She prayed to God and He led her to a
bridge in the streets of Indianapolis.
As she was searching the faces of people lying bundled up in blankets
she saw the face of her son, and a fellow homeless man told him Please go
with your Mother, you have family that cares for you, its
not too late for you. The Bridge
ministry is for all those out there without praying mothers or family that
have lost touch with their loved ones and live under a bridge in your
community. We seek to provide clothing
and hygiene essentials as well as hope in and through Jesus Christ to these
people. The team desires to become a
bridge between the homelessness and hopefulness. If you can provide items, or better yet if
you can join the team and reach out in person to these people, please contact
Nancy or Paul Ferguson (317) 982-7796 or Mary Stevens (317) 640-6649, for
details of this outreach. Even if you
cant help in those ways, please pray that we may bring hope to many of the
hopeless in this situation. |
|
FOOD PANTRY AND NEEDY MINISTRY - Reaching our community with physical

those hours if you have a food need. We
